+ − What does it cost me?
Nothing. The instructor view — roster, readiness, assignments, the invite link — is free for CFIs and small schools, and stays free during the growth phase. Students get 3 free sessions, then buy a single checkride ($29-39) or the $79 Complete bundle. One-time, no subscription.
+ − Do my students have to pay?
Only if they want more than 3 practice sessions. Nothing you do as an instructor is gated, and a student is never charged to share their progress with you.
+ − I run a flight school with several CFIs.
Use one instructor view for the school (or one per CFI — your call). Every student who joins through the link is on the roster. A branded school portal with per-CFI sub-rosters is on the roadmap once schools are using it.
+ − Is this a substitute for ground instruction?
No. It’s oral-exam rehearsal — the part a student can’t practice alone. It doesn’t replace your ground time, your judgment, or the endorsement. It gives you a readiness signal you didn’t have before.
